Becoming a photographer wasn’t always the plan. In fact, it was a complete accident! Let me explain. When I was in high school I had two friends that had been doing photography for years. They invited me out to go on a photo job with them and showed me the ropes. Afterwards we went out for a quick bite to eat at a Waffle House. The two of them had always been talking about joining together and starting a business and they invited me to join them as well. I happily agreed and got super excited! So excited, in fact, that I went out the next day and used all the money in my entire savings to go and buy a camera.
When I was paying for the camera I still didn't have enough, I was literally $1 short! Fortunately the cashier was a friend of mine from school (Danny Howard) and he let me borrow $1 so that I could pay for it. About 2 weeks later, I saw my two friends and told them that I bought a camera and I was ready to start this crazy venture! They told me: "Yea we were talking about it and we don't think it's going to work out, we aren't doing it anymore." 😐 😱 I was in complete shock and didn't know what to do!! I went back to the store where I bought the camera to return it, I had my receipt and everything. However, there was a 14 day return policy... I arrived on day 15 and I couldn't return it. A day late and $1 short pretty much sums up my origin story! 🤷🏾♂️😒
Anyway, I got really good at my job and have a lot of satisfied clients and customers. Wouldn't you like to be one too? 😉 ☺️
